Fridge-wearing marathon runner gets down on one knee

A fridge-wearing marathon runner has proposed to his girlfriend at this year's London Marathon.

Daniel got down on one knee for Hayley while a household fridge was strapped to his back - and almost toppled over in the process. Not surprising as the fridge weighed a hefty 26.5kg.

More than 50,000 people attempted the 26.2-mile (42.2km) course in 2024 - a record number.
