  4. 'Everything remains open'

FT: Atletico Madrid 2-1 Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund boss Edin Terzic, speaking to Uefa: "Everything remains open. The first 30 minutes were not good enough. Often, at this level, it's already over if you make so many mistakes. But we didn't accept that and still managed to show what we're capable of.

"We made too many mistakes, but more important to me is the reaction we showed. In the end, a draw wouldn't have been undeserved. Now we look forward to what's coming in six days."

  5. 'I'm surprised Brandt doesn't start'

FT: Atletico Madrid 2-1 Borussia Dortmund

    Owen Hargreaves

Former England midfielder on TNT Sports

Julian Brandt is a smart player and he finds Haller. It's great awareness and he doesn't even need to look at the goalkeeper. I'm surprised he doesn't start, he gives them so much more.

  7. 'It was a pity'

    FT: PSG 2-3 Barcelona

    Paris St-Germain

    Paris St-Germain

Paris St-Germain boss Luis Enrique speaking to TNT Sports: "It was a pity because I think we started the match properly and in a good mood. Disappointing after we conceded the goal. Second half started in the best way but suddenly we suffered the second goal. We created some chances but for us it's a pity. There's still the spirit to go to Barcelona and try to win.

"Sometimes you have to change things and it happens just when we draw the match, we created more chances. The team was at a high level in that moment. But they are a good team.

"We have [Achraf] Hakimi back next week but it's not only about one player. We have to work as a team, we will go to Barca with the best attitude and commitment to try and win the match."

  9. 'We defended Mbappe really well'

    FT: PSG 2-3 Barcelona

    Barcelona

Barcelona manager Xavi speaking to TNT Sports: "Big win, playing away in the Champions League. One game in Barca to go. We played well, we defended well and attacked. Tactically we did really well. They changed a lot of players, we defended [Kylian] Mbappe really well. We create many chances, Raphinha and Robert [Lewandowski] made the difference, Pedri helped us a lot. Very happy and very proud of the team.

"[Andreas] Christiensen also with the corner, we did so well. Big win but half work, game in Barca will be tough. PSG one of best teams in world right now."

On youngsters: "We have to be proud, [Yamal] Lamina and Pau [Cubarsi], Fermin [Lopez] new player - players from La Masia and they have more commitment with the team. I'm happy because it's a new Barca but we're in a good way.

"We're half-way, we just have a small advantage but it's a big victory. Now we recover well and prepare for the second leg at home."

  10. 'Dortmund are going to be chomping at the bit'

FT: Atletico Madrid 2-1 Borussia Dortmund

    Glenn Hoddle

Former England and Tottenham manager on TNT Sports

If Atletico go 3-0 up then it's completely different in the second leg but Dortmund are going to be chomping at the bit now after scoring that goal.

  11. The kids are alright

    FT: PSG 2-3 Barcelona

The two youngest players to ever start a Champions League quarter final did so for Barcelona tonight – Lamine Yamal (16 years, 272 days) and Pau Cubarsí (17 years, 79 days).

    Pau Cubarsi and Kylian Mbappe
  12. Haller to the rescue

FT: Atletico Madrid 2-1 Borussia Dortmund

Only Erling Haaland (10 apps) reached 12 goals in the Champions League in fewer appearances than Sebastien Haller (13 apps).

Should Haller start in the second leg?

Sebastien Haller scores for Borussia Dortmund
  13. Post update

    FT: PSG 2-3 Barcelona

A brilliant showing from Barcelona to beat Paris St-Germain on their own patch. They showed character and resilience after being knocked back by those two quick goals in the second half.

They will certainly be confident going back to Barcelona but there's still only one goal in it and, based on what we've seen this week, anything could happen.

    Robert Lewandowski claps Barcelona fans
  14. All to play for

FT: Atletico Madrid 2-1 Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund boss Edin Terzic will be frustrated at his side freezing in the early stages of the game and allowing Atletico Madrid to power into a two goal lead.

A much better second half from Dortmund saw them halve the deficit and both sides will feel they can reach the semi-finals next Tuesday.

    Disappointed Borussia Dortmund players
  15. Post update

    FT: PSG 2-3 Barcelona

Three shots, none on target for Kylian Mbappe this evening.

Big props to 17-year-old Pau Cubarsi for helping to keep the French star quiet.

    Kylian Mbappe looks dejected
  16. FULL-TIME

    Atletico Madrid 2-1 Borussia Dortmund

It's all over in Madrid and that Sebastien Haller goal means Borussia Dortmund have hope in the second leg but it is Atletico Madrid who hold on to their slight advantage.

  17. HITS THE WOODWORK

    Atletico Madrid 2-1 Borussia Dortmund

Julian Brandt heads against the cross bar! How close can you come to an equaliser?

Unbelievable stuff at the end of this game.
