A man previously charged after a fatal crash in Queenstown last year has had his charge upgraded.
The 28-year-old is now charged with manslaughter, after initially being charged in late January with excess blood alcohol causing death.
The fatal crash took place on Gibbston Valley Highway near the Crown Range turnoff on 16 December, 2023.
He has been remanded on bail to reappear in the Queenstown District Court on 11 March.
