Vandals who damaged three public toilets in Alexandra have caused a stink, and Otago police are calling on anyone with information to dish the dirt on who was responsible.
"Significant damage" was done to three public toilets last month, police said in a bulletin.
First the town's Tarbert Street loos were hit overnight on Friday 5 January.
Then overnight on Sunday 11 January the Centennial Avenue and Brandon Street toilets were targeted.
"Anyone that saw suspicious activity around these toilets at the relevant times, or entered one of the facilities on those nights and has information that could assist police is encouraged to get in touch," police said.
