A man has been found dead in a bank in the Manawatū after being missing since yesterday evening.
Just after 8pm yesterday, police were told of a man who had not returned home from work at a forestry block outside the town of Dannevirke.
The man's body was recovered this morning, after a search operation in the area they believed he was working.
Police said Worksafe had been contacted regarding the man's death.
