Four people have been arrested after ramming a police car while fleeing a ram-raid in Waihi Beach on Wednesday morning.
Police were called to a store on Wilson Road just before 4am and spotted a vehicle involved soon after.
Two youths, a 23-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman fled the vehicle and were tracked to an address in Ward Street just after 5.30am.
A police spokesperson said there were no injuries and charges against the four were being considered.
