The Board of The Warehouse Group Limited is pleased to announce that Jeremy O’Brien has been appointed as the company’s latest Future Director, from 26 April, for a period of 18 months. Jeremy is currently the Tribe Lead, Short Haul Airline at Air New Zealand. He has extensive experience in executive marketing and commercial roles for several of New Zealand’s largest businesses.

The Warehouse Group Chair Joan Withers said she is delighted that Jeremy is joining The Warehouse Group as part of the Future Directors programme.

“The Warehouse Group is thrilled to welcome Jeremy as a Future Director. His brand and strategy experience, strong commercial and customer focus and curiosity will bring a unique perspective to our discussions, and we are looking forward to his insights and observations.

“The Warehouse Group continues to see great value in participating in and supporting the Future Directors programme. We have been fortunate to attract a succession of talented Future Directors, who have each made a valuable contribution to board discussions.”

The Institute of Directors’ Future Directors programme aims to develop the next generation of directors, providing talented people with governance potential and ambition the opportunity to observe a board and participate in board discussions. The Future Directors programme was started in 2013 by founder of The Warehouse Group and The Tindall Foundation, Sir Stephen Tindall, together with Michael Stiassny (past IoD President) and Des Hunt (NZ Shareholders Association).
