Strictly Come Dancing has been named best TV reality programme at the Television Radio and Industries Club (TRIC) awards at a ceremony in London.
The BBC One dance show beat The X Factor and The Apprentice to the title.
Presenter Johnny Vaughan scooped the prize for best digital radio personality and comedian Alan Carr was named top TV personality.
Loose Women won in the TV daytime programme category and EastEnders took home the gong for TV soap of the year.
BBC Three comedy Gavin and Stacey won in the satellite and digital programme category and the Antiques Roadshow scooped best TV arts and documentary programme.
Sir Trevor McDonald beat Fiona Phillips and Fiona Bruce to be named top newscaster of the year and ex-footballer Gary Lineker walked away with the sports presenter prize.
The award for best TV entertainment programme went to Top Gear and the TRIC special award was presented to current affairs quiz Have I Got News For You.
