Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie has revealed that she is considering giving birth to her twins in France.

The star, at Cannes to promote Kung Fu Panda, said she "had not completely decided" where she would give birth but was "certainly thinking" about France.

Earlier the 32-year-old - who has four other children - confirmed that she and partner Brad Pitt were expecting twins after weeks of media speculation.

The news was first revealed by Kung Fu Panda co-star Jack Black on Wednesday.

Family and film

At a news conference to promote the animated film on Thursday, Black joked that Angelina Jolie was actually expecting triplets.

But she says she is dedicated to her children.

"There is very little division between that and understanding what's happening in the world," she said.

"Because understanding what's happening in the world is what makes me a better person, a better parent and is my focus."

She also said it was a real pleasure as a mother to take her children to a film that they thought was good, like Kung Fu Panda.

"This is a real classic tale and it's beautiful and it's got a lot of nice moral messages to it," she said.

The Oscar-winning actress is also promoting another film in Cannes, Changeling, directed by Clint Eastwood.

But she said she was coping: "It's not such hard work, I'm sitting here talking a lot.

"If I was feeling too pregnant everyone said I didn't have to come."

Six children

Jolie and Pitt, 44, adopted six-year-old son Maddox in Cambodia followed by four-year-old Pax in Vietnam and Zahara, three, from Ethiopia.

She told the news conference that she had teachers to her house to educate Maddox and Pax about Vietnamese and Cambodian culture.

Biological daughter Shiloh was born in Namibia in May 2006.

Jolie was also asked whether her children would be learning French.

"It's a second language in our home," she said.

"My children are starting to speak French, it's good for them."

Pitt has been married once before to Friends star Jennifer Aniston.

Jolie has been married twice, to British actor Jonny Lee Miller and Billy Bob Thornton.
