Mexico bus crash leaves 18 dead
At least 18 people are reported dead after a bus plunged into a ravine in western Mexico.

The bus company said half of the 35 passengers on board had travelled on a diverted flight from Phoenix in the United States.

They were being taken to their intended destination in Guadalajara from the resort city of Puerto Vallarta.

A Red Cross worker said the bus had fallen more than 100m (300 feet) into the ravine.

The accident occurred near Compostela, about 200km (120 miles) from Guadalajara.

Thirteen people were reported injured, five seriously.
